Some Qualities You Must Look for While Choosing Vacuum Bottle

If you are someone who enjoys sipping a cup of hot coffee or tea or chilled drinks when you are out, then vacuum bottle is one of the best things you should consider buying. There are a lot of brands out there that offer great bottles with great features, but you should be aware of what to look for when shopping for a good vacuum bottle. There are a lot of features and aspects that you should be considering.

Here are some of the qualities you must look for-

Capacity-

When it comes to selecting a vacuum bottle, its capacity plays an important role. If you want to carry just a single cup of beverage, a small 500 ml bottle would suffice. However, if you wish to store larger capacities for storing 2 or more cups of drinks, it’s better to opt for one that has a larger capacity (say 1 litre).

Airtight Lid-

A vacuum bottle will be worthless if it doesn’t keep the liquid hot or cold for a longer period of time. And for a bottle to be able to do so, it should have an airtight lid that provides good insulation.

If the lid doesn’t fit well or leaks, then it will cool the hot liquid poured in it way faster than it is supposed to. This is why you need to look for a bottle that has a cap that can provide good insulation. Further, if you can find a bottle that comes with a hollow lid, you can use it as a makeshift cup to drink beverage while travelling.

Sweat/Heat-Proof Outer Body

Ensure that the vacuum bottle comes with a sweat/heat-proof outer body. This helps in keeping the exterior of the bottle sweat-proof if it has chilled drinks and ‘cool to touch’ if it has hot beverages.

The importance of a sturdy, durable and high-quality vacuum bottle cannot be stressed enough, especially when you on the go. Make sure you consider all the above-discussed things while buying a bottle so that it can be a practical solution for all your beverage needs when you are travelling or at office.
