1. Use the Right Appliance

The juicer you choose makes all the difference to the end result. A centrifugal juicer is different from a masticating juicer and you must be clear on the desired end result when making your choice.

It is possible to juice fruits, vegetables and greens and if you prep them right, you can extract almost all the nutrition. Use seasonal foods for the best result.

3. Avoid Ingredients with Low Liquid Content

Avoid fruits and vegetables that have more fibre and less liquid. Examples are coconut and sugarcane.

4. Learn the Right Way to Prep

Chop the ingredients to fit the chute comfortably; remove the tougher skin, peels and the pith to make the process smooth and get the best taste.

5. Make It Easy to Clean

6. Don’t Store the Juice for Long

It is healthy to drink the juice soon after it is squeezed as it does not have preservatives. If required, store it in the refrigerator for no more than 24 hours.

Do not use tools such as plungers that do not come with your juicer. This could damage the appliance and cause injury to yourself, too.

8. Clean Up Immediately

Letting the juicer dry up before you clean it is a mistake. It will take up too much effort and time later. The sooner you clean it, the better it is.
